The usual enjoyment of watching a song come to shape as well as seeing one in it's most bare bone shape has always been of interest. I find it a challenge to keep a song to it's absolute minimum. But when it's finished and pulled off with emotion and a real feel to it, then that is when I find it most effective.

In today's world, a lot is controlled by studio enhancement. But when it's done completely organic, the true emotion comes out.

This compilation was me trying to capture that. Now I am not saying that Nirvana wasn't organic or Black Flag wasn't organic, they were and they were in their own right. But something about grabbing an acoustic guitar and fleshing out a song is probably one of those most beautiful meditative things I have ever come across in my life.
